The WEA is the largest voluntary provider of adult education in the United Kingdom.
Its voluntary and democratic traditions have created an approach that is unique in adult education.
The WEA's ability to involve students in their own learning has long been recognised, as has its willingness to take education out of the classroom and into the community.
